Poppen Hanging Lanterns
Time needed: 2 hours
Ever wonder what you are going to do with those leftover decorations from your kid’s birthday party or that baby shower you threw for your friend? Poppen Hanging Lanterns are a fun cute idea that will bring those hanging lanterns a different look. My daughter loves this idea and now is looking for more ways to decorate those leftover lanterns.
- Tools you will need:
Hanging Party Lanterns
Colored Paper (whatever color you desire)
Round Jar Lid
Glue
Pencil
Scissors - Step One
Lay your colored paper out and place your lid on top. Trace circles all over your paper till you have no space left for circles.
- Step Two
Cut out your circles and place them to the side.
- Step Three
Open up your lanterns so that they are perfectly round.
Take one of your circles and apply a small amount of glue to the top of one side of the circle.
You will want to work from the bottom up. So attach your circle to the bottom of your lantern.
I worked my way around the lantern from the bottom moving upward in a horizontal line.
Attach all of your circles so that they are covering the entire lantern and not completely overlapping the circle next to it.
So don’t throw away those lanterns after your party is over, make some Poppen Hanging Lanterns. With this simple technique, you can make an adorable decoration for your child’s space at a fraction of a cost.
