Donatello’s Baked Spaghetti
Donatello’s Baked Spaghetti recipe is packed with plenty of melted cheese. It’s the perfect way of changing up your regular old spaghetti meal into a delightful dish that everyone will love. The cream of mushroom and tomato soup brings a new flavor to your sauce. The brown sugar along with the other ingredients gives this baked spaghetti it’s an amazing flavor. It’s a different look to spaghetti but still has that great flavor just with a twist.
To make this tasty treat you will need to preheat oven 350 degrees. Break your spaghetti in half and cook according to package directions. In a skillet cook Ground beef, sweet Italian sausage, sweet onion, and green pepper until brown. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, tomato soup tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, and seasonings. When the spaghetti is cooked, remove from heat and drain it. Mix the noodles into the sauce and add 1/2 cup of the cheese. Now grease a 13in x 9in 2in baking dish and transfer noodles and sauce to the baking dish. Cover and bake for 30 mins. Then remove the cover and sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake uncovered for 10 to 15 mins longer or until cheese is melted.

Ingredients
- 1 package spaghetti noodles 16oz
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 lb sweet Italian sausage
- 1 med sweet onion chopped
- ½ cup chopped green pepper
- can condensed cream of mushroom soup 10-3/4 oz can
- 1 can tomato soup 10-3/4 oz can
- 8 can tomato sauce 8oz can
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- ½ tsp dried marjoram
- ½ tsp rosemary crushed
- ⅛ tsp garlic salt
- 1 cup shredded part-skim mozzarella cheese divided
Instructions
- Preheat oven 350 degrees
- Break spaghetti in half and cook according to package directions.
- In a skillet cook Ground beef, sweet Italian sausage, sweet onion, and green pepper until brown. Remove from heat and drain.
- Stir in cream of mushroom soup, tomato soup tomato sauce, water, brown sugar, and seasonings.
- Depending on preference you can add more sugar if you would like. Use this to taste.
- Once the spaghetti is cooked remove from heat and drain.
- Mix the noodles into the sauce and add 1/2 cup of the cheese.
