How to Make a Bow

I have always wondered how to make a fancy bow that I see on gifts. It’s hard to believe that they are so simple as they are to make. With this simple technique, you can make an elegant fancy bow for any occasion. I add wreaths to a variety of different crafts because they add such fullness to my project. This video will give you one example of how to make a beautiful stylish bow that will make anyone wonder just how you did it.

Materials Needed:

Ribbon
Scissors
Twisty Ties or Pipe Cleaners

Time needed: 8 minutes.

Fancy Bow

Step 1
Make 3 big loops with your ribbon as seen in the video above.
Step 2
Turn your bow 1/4 turn and make two loops, one on each side. Repeat this step 3 more times so it is even all the way around it.
Step 3
Make one large loop on the bottom.
Step 4
Use a twisty to tie the bottom together
Step 5
Cut the large bottom loop in half and trim the ends to give the classic ribbon cut
